Join The Dailey Method for a morning of learning and movement with our barre/cycle instructor and pelvic rehab specialist Cora Hargis.
Cora is a physical therapist that specializes in treating dysfunction in the pelvis, abdomen and low back. She commonly sees patients with problems like urinary leaking, diastasis recti, pelvic prolapse, low back pain and pelvic pain. She believes strongly that all women should receive education on postpartum recovery and return to activity to optimize healing after childbirth. She is passionate about helping others learn more about their bodies to maximize their ability to do the activities they love and care for themselves in all stages of life.
The goal of this 75 minute workshop is to educate participants about the changes in the pelvis and abdominals that women experience during and after pregnancy. This workshop will integrate new skills and movement that will help strengthen and find deeper connection within your own body. Find mind-body connection through breath and movement. Flow through common exercises used in the The Dailey Method with modifications and focus on applying your pelvic floor muscle and abdominal engagement. Find a new awareness of your body and approach to fitness that will allow you to workout in a way that is safe and healing for your body before, during and after baby.
